Results recording control

Hi,

I have a following requirement.

In the inspection plan for a material has one operation and this operation has two MIC's. Now during results recording if First MIC is approved then only system should allow for results recording of second MIC. Suppose if first MIC is rejected then system should not allow for Results recording of second MIC. How to configure this.

There is concept of " conditional char " in sap QM -->explore control indicator of the MIC/char.

Define an inspection characteristic as a leading characteristic, that is, as a required characteristic, to which conditional characteristics are assigned in the operation of a task list. Conditional characteristics are inspected, depending on the valuation of this leading characteristic.

what it means that make second char/mic as conditional say " if accepted" --->what will happens is if first char/mic is rejected then second will not be inspected.
