Is it possible to call web service in workflow?

Hi All,

Can any one let me know is it possible to invoke or use webservice in workflow? and also want to know is it possible to syndicate few attributes using webservice?

Hi Rajeev

We cant call web service from MDM workflow.

It is possible to syndicate few attributes using the web service. You need to define a Syndication map with only these attributes mapped and call the syndication API using the web service.

HI,

So its clear that we cant call webservice through MDM workflow..

Is it possible to syndicate checked out records using webservice so that it can call /trigger Business Object Data Service webservice? I dont want to go for Java/ABAP APIs

Hey RR,

is something you are looking for MDM Enrichment controller, since you mentioned abt BOBJ data services / Syndication / MDM Workflow.

If not could you please explain about the flow that you are looking for: (for example)

MDM Import --> MDM Workflow --> Syndication --> and so on.

It is not possible through MDM workflow but it is possible to invoke a MDM workflow from a webservice.
