WebService XI Issue in 12.1

Hello Experts,

I am facing an issue with WebService XI in 12.1.

Actually I need to implement WebService XI in a development without using the 'Configure Object' but by using the Link Editor where I need to map the properties of WebService XI.Now,in that case,I am unable to do so,as though the WSDLUrl and WSDLBaseUrl can be specified in 'Configure Object' ,yet it cannot be mapped in the Link Editor because there is no such parameter in this action block to map with.I was able to do the same with the WebService action block as this property was present in the parameters of WebService .But without the URL property in the Link Editor,I am unable to implement WebService XI.

Kindly suggest.

Hi Shawna,

I also encountered the same problem and finally, to call XI, I used the action block Web Service.

I have a problem of response back, but the dynamic link works fine.

Have you found strange problems using web service to call XI?

I had opened a trhead where i ask the difference between the WebService and Web Service XI, but didn't receive a comprehensive response.
