technical system change for a BS

Hi All,

I need to change the tech system details as the Hardware and the system parameters have been changed for an ECC system.

what are the things i need to take care or problems usually faced when we change a technical system for a EXISTING business system in same SLD.

Do let me know.

Register same TS once again, i dont think you will face any problems, becuase Bussiness System is just a Logical Name.

But dont create any new Bussiness System , use same name and after registering TS, import Your BS once again in ID.

Hi Senthil,

After completing the h/w changes and parameter changes....

1. Trigger the technical system from your respective ECC from RZ70.

2.After triggering the data you would be able to see the technical system in your SLD.

3.Assign the same technical system to the exixting business system.

Now try to work with your scenario ..if you are facing any prob try to re-import the BS again to ID.

Hi Prakash,

Follow the instructions as said by Raja. That would help you to resolve the issue.

Create the Technical System once again and use that in Business system. Now, try to re-import the same in the Integration Directory.
