SAP NW on Windows7 to learn Java

Hi,

is there any demo / trial installation of SAP Netweaver which can run on Windows 7 64-bit and that can be tested to explore SAP Java World?

Hi,

I installed the NetWeaver Developer Studio and NetWeaver J2EE server on my Windows 7 64-bit machine.

Make sure to download the 64-bit installation of the NetWeaver Developer Workplace.

Proceed as follows:

1.) Install a 64-bit Java SDK (for other development)

2.) Install a 32-bit Java SDK for netweaver development

3.) Run NetWeaver setup.

4.) Install/Update Developer studio. Start the Developer Studio via a .bat file like this:

set JAVA_HOME=<path_to_java_sdk_home>

"<path_to_developer_studio>\SapNetWeaverDeveloperStudio.exe"

5.) Apply SAP Note 1566977

That should work.

I've installed NWDS 7.3 and it is working just fine.

I installed VMware edition of CTB J2EE system....looks fine

i think you can install developer workspace in your machine.

Yes, I've checked that, but the problem is how to install SAP J2EE server on Windows 7, is there any chance?
