Result Recording in Quality Inspection

Dear Masters,

I have a question related to quality inspection that suppose I have five master inspection characteristics in my inspection lot out of which I record the result only for three master inspection characteristics and approve the same. Is it still possible to go for the usage decision of the inspection lot without entering the result of two master inspection characteristics?

Please do guide me. Thanks in advance.

System while doing UD will display the warning that you have not closed all the MIC's.You can bypass the same & go ahead with the UD & stock posting.Only thing is that you can not again go back & do the Result recording.(Unless MIC's are long term)

Hi,

Yes you can enter the UD without completing teh results recording.

the system will display a meesage some characteristics are open.
