Hello:
I need to install Instant Client 10.2.0.5 on an ERP SAP ECC.0. ¿Which user name should I use to do the installation i.e oraadm? or root? Note 819829 (Oracle Instant Client Installation and Configuration on Unix) does not have that information.

Oracle client will be used by the SAP kernel.
So, please use sidadm for installing / updating the Oracle client.
