customize the project planning board

I am having a peculiar problem , in the project planning board diagrame area I can see vertical and horizontal blue bars which is making the time bars (activity) difficult to view. I want a white board in the diagram area , I tried many things to remove thise blue colours but failed. could anybody suggest me how to customize it.

Hi,

In the planning board screen, you have an icon for "Options". In this select "Planning Board" and go to "Diagram Area"tab. Here you have options to remove the horizontal & vertical lines.

If the settings is required only for a user then you can do it from the options in the planning board as suggested by sreekanth.

for default setting create your own time profile, time scale and time scale profile and assign them in planning board profile diagram area.
