QA11 user status and change documents

hi all-

I am going through and trying to figure a way to track User Status changes on the inspection lot. Does anyone know is there a user exit that allows us to turn enable the creation of change documents when change the status profile of inspection lots. It appears to be that the FM STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN is called and has an option to record the change, but is not active in SAP native configuration/code. Anyway, I am looking now for a user exit off QA11 so we can record this, but if some one can help I would be grateful.

OK, all simplest approach is the best, the QM tab of the material master documentation required flag.

The setting of "Documentation Required" is applicable when Inspection Lot is created for Material.

how can Status Change Documents achieved when the Inspection Origin is 14 :  Plant Maintenance?

Any suggestions?
