Hi,

We are trying to run report S_ALR_87013542 two different users are different results, despite settings being the same.

Checked the authorizations and made the necessary changes, not able to get the desired output,

Pl let us know what could be the possible reason for this.

Hi Sowmya,

Please adjust your value category customizing according to the following

settings:

1) In transaction CJVC, all yellow and/or red lights have to eliminated

by assigning each cost element/commitment item/statistical key figure

according to the following rules:

1.1) Each cost element/commitment item/statistical key figure should

be assigned to a value category, EVEN if its values should NOT

be updated to table Project Information Database, table RPSCO.

In this case please create an assignment to a value category

and activate its 'suppress' indicator. All values basing on an

assignment to this value category won't be updated to RPSCO.

1.2) Each cost element/commitment item/stat. key figure has to be

assigned exactly once to a value category. Assigning them to

more or less than one value category will lead to unpredictable

results.

1.3) Only

1.3.1) cost elements of the same cost element type,

1.3.2) commitment items of the same item category and

1.3.3) statistical key figures of the same unit of measure

and the same KF category are allowed to be assigned to

one value category. Mixed assignments will lead to

unpredictable results, like mixing costs and revenues in

columns or rows.

2) If all yellow and/or red lights in transaction CJVC are eliminated,

please rebuild the Project Information Database (table RPSCO) by

transaction CJEN. Without this, changes from 1.1)-1.3) won't have

any effect.

3) Please rebuild the assigned values by transaction CJBN.

Could you also review notes 51971, 327081, 676123?

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hello,

When we execute the report S_ALR_87013542

The total of all the cost elements is different for both the Users.

For example for one user say it's 15,000 for other user the total of the all the cost elements in the same report is showing up as 10,000

Hi,

Please compare the authorization of both the users in SUIM. Its possible that one of the users do not have authorization for some profit center / G/L or cost element authorization.

hi Sowmya 123 ,

It must be authorisation issue, Just run SU53 and see if there are missing authorisations to one or both of users.

Hi Sowmya,

If you are using ACL functionality , then please check the ACL authorizations. It is possible that both the users are not having same ACL read/write/admin authorization and the report output will be different.

Hi

This is an authorization issue related to either G/L accounts, plants profit centers etc.

Let your Basis team can compare and find out objects in two user roles assignment and add those objects in missing user.

I am sure, if both the users have the same kind of roles and not displaying the equal values? then you have to go with test role and find out what are those objects missing.
