Error in adapter engine

Hi,

I have a problem with the adapter engine. In the RWB under component monitoring I get an error for the adapter enginge saying (for both Ping status and self-test-status):

"HTTP request failed. Error code: "404". Error message: "Not Found [http://YYYY.XX.ZZ:50000/AdapterFramework/rtc]" Last Retry Jul 22, 2011 10:34:42 AM CEST"

when i enter the corresponding address into a webbrowser i get an 404 telling me:

Error: The request cannot be processed.

Troubleshooting Guide https://sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/jsts/home

Details: Cannot load the requested servlet AdapterFramework/servlet/AdapterFrameworkServlet.

But despite the error somme messages are processed succesful (others are not - error message: Error while receiving by HTTP (error code: 110 , error text: )). How can that be? And how might the problem be solved?

KR

Felix

Hi,

HTTP 404

o The specified path cannot be found using the server:port

o Check that the port really is the ICM HTTP port (transaction

SMICM, Goto Services) and not the J2EE port.

o If the port is wrong, change the pipeline URL in the SLD in

the business system of the Integration Server.

o Restart the J2EE Engine to reset the SLD buffer of the

Adapter Engine.

go to the exchange profile and search for the key "port" .

In SMICM the right port is displayed for HTTP. How can it be, that some messages are still processed succesfully when the adapter framework cannot be accessed?
