Functional Enhancement Specification

Hi,

I am wondering, how to write functional specification for enhancement. I am completely ignorant about it, so if any one want to explain, please let me know in detail giving some example please.

Dear Venksys,

FS depends on the requirement which we have to MAP.

Usually most of the companies have a format for FS.

Sometimes the client also have the format for tracking the FS.

In the specified format, we write the logic for mapping a new process or a report considering the various tables/fields

and exits/enhancements/Badi etc.

You can check in the forum for this and you will come across some logics.

This when presented in the format becomes an FS.

HI Venky,

the FS for enhancement is same like how you give a FS for report developments,for enhancement just write a logic with user exit in which user exit u want to do the enhancement and give logic according to your requirement.sit with ABAPer and explain him about the requirement and according requirement give input to him like table names and field names.
