How to reset information shown in ST02

We met a performance warning information in ST02 - something about EXPORT/IMPORT, TABLE buffer.

After adjusting parameter and restarted, I found those KPI went within an acceptable range but I don't know why the field still show with RED color background.

I suppose it may be due to the average of this perforamnce KPI is still above warning threshold.

I'm interested to know how to reset ST02 and let me only see the latest state.

Any sugguestion?

doulbe click the buffer you want to reset --> edit --> reset buffer.

Hi

Seeing red in st02 does not mean a performance issue,even for optimal configuration red will be there

and means number of objects swapped in /out of the corresponding buffer.SAP allows like 10000 swaps per day

of Program buffer(PXA)frequent resetting of buffer is also not required.

Plz also try that,

For Table Buffer or TABL

zcsa/table_buffer_area u2013 for size of table buffer data area.

zcsa/db_max_buftab u2013 for directory entries u2013 one for every resident table

For Single key table Buffer or TABLEP.

rtbb/max_tables u2013 Directory Entries u2013 One for each table.

rtbb/buffer_length u2013 Size of data area

Hi,

You have select and adjusting through ( RZ11) "export/import buffer", but it has 3

parameters instead of the usual 2:

rsdb/obj/buffersize = size of buffer

rsdb/obj/max_objects = number of directory entries

and

rsdb/obj/large_object_size

Enter $Sync in the transaction field of the screen and hope it should resolve the issue

Hi,

my reply is Out of question,

u can update the st02 main screen by pressing enter or keeping it pressed . thats wht i do while monitoring. Dont select anything on the screen, else it will bring the buffer screen u selected.
