I am creating a package for SAP GUI 7.2. It will be deployed on new PCs and also on PCs with existing 7.1 installations. I would like to have a default non-standard window layout for all users. I see that I can get pretty much what I want by modifying the registry key HKCU\Software\SAP\SAPLogon\Settings\Connections. However, that obviously only works for the current user.
Attempting to copy this key to HKEY_USERS\.Default or HKLM, does not help, even for new users of the workstation. I'm thinking that the registry values that are written to a new user must have to come somewhere, but I cannot find them.
Does anyone know what determines the default value for these key entries?
Thanks,
Bill

the layout of saplogon or saplogon pad is hard coded, you cant change it.
The content in the saplogon or saplogon pad the program uses the files
saplogon.ini
Saplogontree.xml
sapshortcut.ini
