Can SOLMAN 7.01 work on NW7.02 ?

Hi Experts,

Can SOLMAN 7.01 work on NW7.02 ?

I was asked to install GRC 10 on our SolMan 7.01 system.

GRC 10 works on NW 7.02,so I need upgrade our system from NW7.01 to NW 7.02.

I only find SOLMAN 7.01 and SOLMAN 7.1,no SOLMAN 7.02 exist.

Could someone tell me "Can SOLMAN 7.01 work on NW7.02 ?" and what should I do?

If you want apply this GRC 10 that needs NW 7.02, you need upgrade/install a solution Manager 7.1, this Solution manager 7.1 is based on NW 7.02.

Solution Manager is a standalone system using SAP BASIS and SAP ABA 700 and 701 for 7.0 and 7.0 EHP1 respectively.

You can find Solman 7.0, 7.01 and 7.10.

You state GRC 10 works on NW 7.02, so what makes you think Solution Manager would have this same requirement.

The GRC system must be installed on Netweaver 7.02. This requirement is for the GRC system and NOT for Solution Manager.

So you are not required to upgrade your Solution Manager system because of the GGRC system requirment. It's a different system and it's requirements do not apply to the requirements for Solution Manager.

Where you fidn the requirments for Solution Manager is in the Installation Guide located here

This will define the requirements for Solution Manager 7.01.
