Hello all,
i've noticed some interessting changes in the SLA implentation in the new SolMan 7.1, like a constantly new calculation of end time, response time etc.
My first trys to get the sla determination for incidents running were not succesful.
Is there any one with some expierence with sla in solman 7.1? Are contracts still required? Is there a configuration guide which shows how to to config the slas?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
recently i i configured the SLA for the SP6 in a customer here in Brazil and was following the documentation of SP5.
If you want to send me an e-mail that I command thee the step by step that rode as documentation.
But you can follow the configuration of SP5 that works.

the configuration of SLA's is described the Implementation Guide of SolMan 7.1 under:
SAP Solution Manager --> Capabilities --> Application Incident Management --> SLA Escalation

Dear Daniel,
You do realize that 7.1 is still in ramp up and is not offically released.
Thus there will be a dearth of documentation available.
One thing you should ensure is that you have applied the available patches, as it could be your issue has been addressed.
Perhaps someone in the rampup program will read this thread that has already configured SLA, or has received some
guidance from Development?
I wish I had more to offer, but I would check to ensure the system is patched.... SAP Solution Manager: Basic functions 7.1 for PS1 and SP2 are out. Ensure you are patched accordingly and see if you still have the issues.
