Hi Björn,

Do you run an ASCII or unicode kernel ?

Please check with e.g. dspdtaara kernel ...

If the kernel is unicode, you are ok.

You still have the old ASCII rubbish entry in table DBPROPERTIES. Please check with STRSQL and you will find 1 row only.

Just delete this row and restart ... then the check will no longer go crazy ...

I do not know by hard the correct value for unicode ...

Hi,

the table seems to be empty.

select * from DBPROPERTIES

No data selected for output.

yes it is an ASCII kernel as the export was corrupt and i resotred the non unicode database.

Hi Björn,

ok, then there is the question, what you did wrong ?

Did you correct the profiles to the old versions as well ?

When the DB is ASCII, the kernel is ASCII, the profiles are correct and you deleted the SQL Packs, I wouldn't see, why it should not work ...

ok, but now, we are starting to come into the consulting area ... I will stop now here via the forum ...
