Subscribe Failed in Device SUP DOE application

Hi Experts,

When i try to do subsription of data from my device for the first time, it is showing subscribe failed messgae. I think the device not able to connect the DOE system.

Please help me resolve the same.

Did you check following things:

1. Device connectivity is available with SUP server. In SCC, device shows online

2. SUP server is able to communicate to DOE server.

3. What is the state of device in SCC?

4. In Session monitoring logs in DOE, Do you see subscription request? If yes, what is the state of subscription?

Green / Red;

Green - Subscription is successful

Red - Subscription in unsuccessful (This should not be the case unless until some dump in the system)

1. In SCC, device shows online only.

2. How to check SUP server is able to communicate to DOE server?

3. There is no logs avalible in subscribtion monitoring and as well session monitoring.

To enable logs in DOE for session monitoring: Check the following parameter:

1. Choose transaction SDOE_PARAM to open the parameter configuration table.

2. Select the row that contains the DOE_CONNECTOR parameter key.

3. Double-click the Parameter Names node.

4. Select the row that contains the parameter name : ENABLE_LOGGING.

5. Double-click the Parameter Values node.

6. Choose Display -> Change.

7. In the Text Value provide value X and save:

Now perform subscription and see the status of the subscription.

Can you check subscription monitor whether you have any subscription listed down there. If not, no subscription is sent from SUP server.

Hi Siva,

My problem got solved. I didnt do any configuraion, i just opened the SDOE_PARAM and opened the DOE_CONNECTOR, ENABLE_LOGGING already set to X only. Now i can able to subscribe it.

I dont know about the actual issue?
