SRM 7 - Clear data from a hidden field

Hi,

We are contraolling the visibility of a custom field through /SAPSRM/IF_MDF_ITM_DYN_CONTROL class, but when the field is hidden the previously entered value is still exist in the field(when seen in BBP_PD). We want to clear the data of the field when the field is hidden.

Is there any way to acheive this?

Hi ,

we can control the visiblity but we should not use to change the data. Basing on some condition you deciding the field should be visible or disable. Basing on the same condition you can clear this field in Changed Badi.
