Hi Folks
I'm new in SAP APO. Our customer has reported us that APO system has grown a lot. They don't want a archiving project for now. Is there any cleaning action that we can do? for example: temporary tables that we can delete or some unecessary data in tables.
Thanks in advance

SAP provides recommendations for maintenance/ administrative tasks - some of these are module specific (DP/ SNP/ etc) and some are cross-module (Livecache, etc).
You can find these in the SAP Service Marketplace - https://websmp210.sap-ag.de/support
In the Search tab enter the term "Manage APO" and then click on the link saying "Show individual documents". You will get a list of pdf documents that you can refer.
Make sure you test the recommended programs/ reports thoroughly in Development and Quality (to test with large data volumes) before running them in Production.
Instead of following all of SAP recommendations, you can also ask your BASIS person as to which tables are taking the most space, and then focus on cleanup in those areas to get quicker improvement.

Suelen,
There are programs within SCM that perform this task. In SCM, this process is generally known as 'reorganization'. There are many such transactions found in menu path SAP Supply Chain Management u2192 Advanced Planning and Optimization u2192 APO Administration u2192 Reorganization.
