Warranty and Installation Equipment

Hi,

I have a question,

I want manage this situation with Standard SAP:

Starting date of a warranty should be equal to the installation date of its reference equipment.

It is possible?

Hi,

As warranty is updated in equipment manually so you can put start date as your installation date.

There is no automatic adaptation of warranty date when is sold/Issued or when installed, if you created program for update same then add you logic in program then when it install that date will update as warranty start date.

I had done this when we sold it and do the delivery then PGI date is our warranty start date which is updated after running custom developed program.
