SAP productivity pak link to SAP transaction

Former Member

One of my customer need to work with the SAP Productivity Pak.

Iu2019ve installed SAP Productivity Pak 4.1 in a windows/Oracle environment and it seems to work correctly.

We are able to create document with SAP Productivity Pak client and check it in on the server.

Iu2019m trying to configure now the SAP integration.

Iu2019ve found on the CD the u201Chelplauchpadu201D document and follow it, but unfortunately it is not clear for me.

Now if I lauch the u201Ccustom helpu201D Iu2019m able to view in the browser window the SAP Productivity Pak web server (so all the document available) and with the search utility find a specific document.

But my wishes is that when I launch u201Ccustom helpu201D it automatically opens the document that I linked to the transaction, Iu2019m not able to perform this configuration.

Have you any idea? Some document that can guide me to perform this task?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Matteo,

Thank you for using this forum.

For this you will need to active StayOnTop in HelpLaunchpad.

You can either configure this on the server side through transaction /n/rwd/zf0 or the client side rwdhlp.exe.

Please confirm if your server setting has correct information to

activate Stay on Top program by operating the following steps.

1. Logon the system which Help Launchpad is implemented.

2. Type "/n/rwd/zf0" in the command field and click enter button to

access Help Launchpad Start screen.

3. Click "Server Setup" button on the application tool bar.

4. Type your Help Launchpad server setting name in the field.

5. Click "Edit Server" button on the application toolbar.

  • Note: The button appears as Pencil and glasses image with text

"Server"

6. Confirm that "Executable Location" field has correct path of the

folder which "Help Launchpad Executable" files are stored.

7. Click "Start" tab

8. Confirm "Executable" radio button is selected and "rwdhlp.exe" is

typed in the field right next to the "Executable" radio button.

9. If you edit the current configuration to set correct information,

click "Save Server Settings" button on the application toolbar.

Hope this help,

Kind Regards,

Matthew

Dear Nau Shoopala,

Thank you for using the forum.

Would you mind creating a seperate post for your question so that we can give answer to Matteo.

It becomes confusing when more than one person is asking question on the same post.

Thank you in advance,

regards,

Matthew

Hi Mathew,

the SAP note 848560 is not more available and the link doesn't work (or better it point to another site where I have to insert a user name and a password that I haven't).

In any case, if I understand well the rwdhlp.exe and the broser method are alternative, so I can configure or the rwdhlp.exe method or the browser method.

In both cases the help should work correctly.

I'm interested on the browser method.

What I'm not able to do is the link between an RWD document and a SAP transaction.

My desiderata is:

- when I launch "help" from a SAP transaction is possible to open the RWD document linked to that transaction?

In my actual configuration when I lauch "help" from a SAP transactio in opens a page with all the RWD document and from it I cant find the correct document, but I wish somethig more linked, and I don't find how to do this link.
