ESW: Why no start of SOAMANAGER?

Former Member

Hi,

I try to start SOAMANAGER from transaction SPROXY in HU2(800) on ESWorkPlace, but I get the error message that the website cannot be found:

http://iwdf4158:55080/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/appl_soap_management?sap-client=800&sap-language=EN&comp=...

Having some suspicion it may be the firewall, closing port 55080, I have tried from home, but also there it does not work.

Is there some settings to do, so that it may work. Some help would be very appreciated.

Regards,

Serge

If you observe: http://iwdf4158 is internal to SAP network which means not available for public over internet. I don't know why you want to access SOAMANAGER on HU2 as this system is only to consume ES not to configure anything (I must admit I never logged into ESW after 2008).

If you want to access it please ask SAP to give you public url or add suitable fully qualified domain name (something like: http://iwdf4158.sap.com).

Thanks, Gourav,

It was only to display parameters in SOAMANAGER, not to change config ...

But another question, I have tried using SoapUi for ECC_SALESORDER009QR with following WSDL:

WSDL:

http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/sdef_ECC_SALESORDER009QR/wsdl11/ws_policy/document?sa...

ENDPOINT: http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/bndg_DEA474707912D7F19FD500145E5ADE89/wsdl11/binding/...

and for WSDL I get the error message "Found nothing to import in, is there sth wrong?

Using the endpoint, and sumbmitting a request with SelectionByBuyerPartyInternalID = 1000, I don't get an "adequate" response, should be 2374 records, but an info "erp.esworkplace.sap.com:80 requires authentication with the realm 'SAP Web Application Server [HU2]'" in Log, and although I've put username and password in Authentification and Security-related Settings on request's side.

May you pls give some hints, as I'm new in Web Services, and my aim is to consume a web service in MS SharePoint.

Your help would be very appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Serge

Hi,

Use binding url for testing.

you need to provide your HU2 user/password to test this service, if you are using SOAPUI then there is an option to provide user/password.

Hi Serge,

Please refer to my answer to you in this thread:

SOAMANAGER is disabled on HU2. It's a pity...
