VL09 - inbound delivery

Hello SAP Gurus,

Iam trying to goods reverse material in VL09 for inbound delivery. When I open VL09 and than I clik on reverse button system works a long time and in the end shows me time out.

I know that we have in data base MSEG too much entries and which has to be archived. But I have to wait for sap admin for solve this trouble.

I have to find temporary solution until will be it solve from sap admin.

I want to decrease stock but I dont want to use the key 711.

do you have some idea?

Time-out is caused by a missing MSEG index, create it, please, with the following fields:

MANDT

MBLNR

MJAHR

SMBLN

SMBLP

If this index is missing, the database optimizer may select wrong indexes, and this causes the time-out.

In VL09 are you choosing the option 'Inbound Deliveries' and slecting the delivery that needs to be reversed or are u just executing without selecting any deliveriy'?

HI,

Thanks. I tried to choose Inbound on the first screen of VL09. On the second screen of VL09 I clicked on the reverse button and problem persist :o(
