Dear Friends,
I am installing the oracle 1g patch.
I have downloaded the patches Patchset_10204_HPUX-IA64aa.bin ab, ac and ad patches.
I have copy these patch files in /tmp/oraclepatche directory and executed the command from ORA<SID> user as below
>opatch apply /tmp/oraclepatch
then it is giving the arror as below
Patch history file: /oracle/DVR/102_64/cfgtoollogs/opatch/opatch_history.txt
OPatch cannot find a valid oraInst.loc file to locate Central Inventory.
OPatch failed with error code 104

Those patches are a patchset. You have to concatenate the files to a zip file, unpack it and run runInstaller according to the Readme.htm that's in the file.
