inbox scenario

Hi All..

I need tips and advice on below scenario.

We are developing custom ESS apps. In some apps we have approval process , which is done by Workflow concept.

In approval process employee will get mail once his request approved or rejected.

So employee should be able to check that mail in PORTAL. How we can create INBOX concept in PORTAL?

this is part of webbdynpro developer or portal developer? Just give me any ideas about INBOX in portal.

as of now we dont have inbox tab in portal.. ...

The UWL should serve as your portal "inbox". However it is Java component and not very friendly to enhancement - although very powerful configuration options exist.

Alternatively for leave, you could consider using the POWL leave approval application - as this shows all requests for a given user.

I think in UWL they can view the mail., it is like an inbox.
