Hi All.
Hit an issue refreshing our QAS system using production database.
I saved the production system to tape (4 LTO3 tapes) and started restoring it to the QAS database library.
The restore goes well until the second tape where after a few hours it crashes out with a CPF3793 error:

Message . . . . : Machine or ASP storage limit reached.
Cause . . . . . : There is not enough storage on the system or ASP to
complete the save or restore operation.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following and try the request again:
-- Delete some unneeded objects or objects that have been recently saved.
-- If the ASP is full, add an additional disk unit to the ASP.
-- If your main storage size is 64M or higher, ensure the QMCHPOOL system
value is 15 percent of the main storage size. If your main storage size is
less than 64M, ensure the QMCHPOOL system value is 20 percent of the main
storage size.

It makes no sense since we are only using 16% of disk space at this point of the restore, so there is plenty of space.
I used wrkshrpool to ensure that minimum 15% of the main storage is in QMCHPOOL, but the system has alot of memory anyway.
We only have one ASP.
It has been 3 years since doing a refresh and I am a little rusty.
I have logged the issue with IBM and am curious is anyone else has ever experienced this issue with a large system.
