Hi Gurus,
We have 36 months history and our requirement is to view past 3 years history to current planning view.
please help me how we can view past history in a planning book as current?
Please let me know
Thanks &Regards,
Raj
Hi,
you can assign the time bucket profile to TB Profile ID (Past) in dataview design (tcode /sapapo/sdp8b) and then set the
flags visible and input (if you want to make history editable).

Hi Sunitha,
Thanks for your response.
1. If we assign Time bucket profile only to Past without putting anytime buckets in the future bucket profile then planning book itself wont allow you to go ahead without putting Future buckets.
2. If i insert time bucket profile to future only then Horizon "visible "button will be grayed out.
3. If i just put future time bucket and put the planned start date then it will work, but when i do initialization every month the planned start date is not changing meaning rolling planning is not possible in this instance. which is big problem.
Please suggest me good solution
Thanks & regards,
Raj
Hi Sunitha,
Thanks for quick response.
As suggested i had the same but again when were the planner enters in the planning book ,he need scroll back and see the history.
My question is is there a way where, when use enter into planning book he can see only starting of history as a start time bucket?
Thanks & Regards,
Raj
Hi Raj,
The userparameter /SAPAPO/SDP_STARTCOL controls if during reloading of data the startcolumn
shall be kept or the grid will scroll back to the first future column.
(see note 749791 - not valid in the newer releases anymore).
As of SCM4.1, this is being controled by the user settings - see note
997497:
The parameter /SAPAPO/SDP_STARTCOL is replaced with the parameter
"'X' = Do Not Reset Start Period in Grid" in the user settings.
The description of the settings as of 4.1 is a bit confusing, but you
need to go to the tab "others" in the usersettings and change the option
in:
Different Start. Period after Selection Switch
to: "Period from last selection"
Hope this will helps you.
Regards,
Sunitha
