Build successful but deployment fails

Hi,

We are making some enhancements to ESS using NWDI. After making changes and while trying to deploy, i am getting below error -

Cannot login to the SAP J2EE Engine using user and password as provided in the Filesystem Secure Store. Enter valid login information in the Filesystem Secure Store using the SAP J2EE Engine Config Tool.

We could figure out the reason for this and fixed it. But how do i trigger redeployment? The activity is already active so i don't see anything in NWDS to trigger redeployment. Please advise.

Thanks

Indrajit

Hi,

in CMS webui (Transport Studio -- Development tab as well as on Consolidation tab) there is a feature "Deployment..." which you can use. It is like the TCS/Deployer. This feature is listing all the DCs involved in the buildspace and you can redeploy failed deployments from here, however as far as I know this feature is available only on higher releases.

Best Regards,

Ervin

Hi Indrajit

If the currect SAP J2EE Engine password updated in the config tool. Also activiy status is activated in CBS. then you can create the new activity for the corresponding DC which you want to modify and then check-in and activate the activity.

Connect to the URL http://<host>:<port>/TCS/Deployer and see if your build request.
