Using DeployTool I have created a new project.
Here the steps I follow after project creation:
1. Go to the Server Components tab.
2. right-click and select 'Add Library'.
3. Give a name: 'jdom' and select 'Create New'. Click OK to create the new archive.
4. Select the new archive in the left-hand column and click the '...' button to add a .jar file.
5. Browse to the location of the jar file, select it and click the Add button. The new .jar shows up in the list.
6. Go to the assembler tab and right click the name of the project.
7. Choose 'Add Archive'.
8. Navigate to the location of the archive previously created: <my project>/Server Components/jdom.jar. Choose the archive and click OK.
9. Error comes up:
"Could not load archive. It doesn't contain XML file or Incorect Archive! java.lang.Exception: Error occurred while processing Zip file: Can't find xml file in jar file."
What do I need to do differently to make the Assembler accept my archive?
Obviously I have read the DeployTool documentation at help.sap.com.
Many thanks for any help.

Hi Jake,
I got the same problem, except that I'm adding an already existing archive.
Did you manage to solve this problem?
Thanks for ANY kind of help,
regards
Nadine
