Hi,
We are planning to implement ACC 7.3 to use for basic start/stop purpose as well as for infrastructure virtualization purpose also. Normally ACC is being installed as an addon on top of NW CE 7.2 environment. Is it also possible to use the ACC which comes as default via NW 7.3 installation ? Is it started supported by SAP for production use ?
Thanks,
Murali.
Hello Murali.
It's not available yet as an add-on for SAP Netweaver 7.3 and I doubt it will be in the future.
SAP is building new program called Landscape virtualization management software which will have all the capabilities of ACC 7.3 along with a nice list of new features.
Start of ramp-up is planned for November 2011.
The landscape virtualization management software will require SAP Netweaver AS Java 7.3.
You could go for ACC 7.3 on NW CE 7.2 now and afterwards go for LVM on NW 7.3 AS Java once it is officially released.
ACC 7.3 is supported for productive use.
Hope this answers your question.
Kind regards
Tom

Hello Murali
It's not mentioned on help.sap.com nor is it visible on https://service.sap.com/swdc
If it would be available I would at least expect that the download files would be available under SAP Netweaver 7.3 unless the component is renamed.
Product availability matrix also doesn't mention availability for SAP Netweaver 7.3 nor do the SAP notes.
SAP NETWEAVER ACC 7.3 Print... Help Back to PAM Homepage
Official Name SAP NetWeaver Adaptive Computing Controller 7.3
Release Type Standard
Add-On Product Version for... SAP NETWEAVER CE 7.2 ( Application Server Java )
Upgrade to SAP NETWEAVER ACC 7.3 from SAP NETWEAVER ACC 7.2
I know SAP doesn't always update documentation consistenly but it would seem strange that it would be integrated or available in SAP Netweaver 7.3.
Kind regards
Tom
