How to delete Temse Inconsistency

Former Member

Hi All,

We are seeing lot of Temse Inconsistencies in our SAP system, We checked OSS Note 48400, this Note Suggest to delete by SP12 only no method is mentioned to delete this inconsistencies in background, Report RSTS0020 and RSTS0030 also display inconsistency only and do not delete them.

We also checked the note 98065 but report RSPO1043 mentioned in this note deletes only Spool Inconsistency not Temse Inconsistency.

Please suggest do we have any method available to delete these inconsistency and if not then what should be process to delete them manually, Should we delete them daily or weekly.

Hi Shivam,

Check the Note 48400 - Reorganization of TemSe and Spool, carefully. Read the note 936049 - TemSe: Consistency check, file system against TST01, also. RSTS0043 delete inconsistent records.

Hi Orkun,

Thanks for reply.

We have set parameter rspo/store_location as db so We are using SAP database or say table TST03 to store spool objects so report RSTS0043 will not help us to delete inconsistency between TST03 and TST01 it only deletes inconsistency between TST01 and file System So report RSTS0043 will not help to achieve our target.

Please suggest do we have any other report also to delete inconsistency between TST01 and TST03.

Hi,

You can run report RSPO1043 to delete inconsistencies in temse database.

Hi Deepak,

We already have report RSPO1043 running in our system but this job deletes inconsistency between TSP01 and TSP02.

Please make me correct if I am wrong.

Hi Shivam,

Check RSTS0022. Please check the statements in the "note 48400 - Reorganization of TemSe and Spool"

RSTS0022 SHOULD NEVER BE SCHEDULED ON A REGULAR BASIS

Only use the reports mentioned above for this. RSTS0022
can delete only the TemSe object and the header entry in TST01.
It does not touch the entries in tables TSP01 and TSP02,
which causes inconsistencies in the spooler.
