Unable to Login with J2EE User Admin UI Portal

Hello,

We have a Netweaver with Java stack only server. Now I can able to login to Visual Administrator with Administrator id and Password.

But while login to

J2EE User Admin UI Portal

"http://xyz.domain.com:50000/luseradmin"

I am unable to login with administrator id and password. It gives no error. just throughing me out.

Could you please let me know how top solve this.

Are you able to login to http://<server>:5<instance>00/nwa with this user ?

Hi,

It looks like this user does not have proper authorization. If you are able to login with this user in visual admin then create a user from visual admin and assign administrator group to it. Then try to login with that user. If you still unable to login with new user then please activate emergency user and then login.

Hello Sunny,

I have solved this in following way.

I have opened Visual Admin->Server->Service->Security Provider

click on ticket under Policy Configuration,

I find the Login Modules are configred as

EvaluateTicketLoginModule SUFFICIENT

SPNegoLoginModule REQUISITE

CreateTicketLoginModule REQUISITE

But It should be configured as the following,

EvaluateTicketLoginModule SUFFICIENT

BasicPasswordLoginModule REQUISITE

CreateTicketLoginModule OPTIONAL

I changed the config to second one and my issue solved now able to login user admin portal.
