Browser support of NW AS

Hello,

We are planning to support various browser of our application. But it seems the NW AS only support few of them. If I open our application from Chrome, Opera the logon page will say: "You are calling this page from a browser that is not supported.". And the username and password fields are disabled.

Does anyone know whether the NW AS browser support is configurable? How do I make the browser pass the NW validation? Thanks.

Hi Yanlin,

Please check the browser compatibility in Product availability Matrix in service market place for your server version.

Loging with SMP userid and password at [http://service.sap.com/pam|http://service.sap.com/pam]

Hi,

Thank you for your input.

I already did that. The PAM only states IE7,8,9; Firefox 3.5, 3.6 and 4.0 and Safari 4.0, 5.0. No other browsers.

If the browser support is not configurable. Then we have to wait the basis team to support more browser in the future?

Unfortunately, yes.

This is a big problem if you want to publish your SAP application on Internet...

Thanks for the confirmation.

We have a local NW system and have full access right. I want to do minor modification on basis to let NW support other browsers. Where should I modify? Do you have any idea?
