Change tracking

Hi Experts,

Need help.

Change tracking is done in MDM console in change tracking table under the admin node. now suppose i have activated the change tracking for the field called "Name" and i want to view all the changes done to that field how can i do so?

is their any process involved in finding the changes or can it be seen in any folder in MDM?

My understanding is that the changes can be tracked using someother process and not directly MDM

Please guide.

Thanks

Sandhya

Sandhya -

Change Tracking is a feature in SAP MDM, Using which we can track history of table records for the repositories. There are three are options, Track Adds, is track new field value when a record added. Track Modifies, track old and new values when the field is modified. Track Deletes, tacks old-field value when a record is deleted

To get more clear pictorial approch pl follow below URL of a blog

As far as access is concern You can access the MDM Change Tracker application (Change Tracker) via the SAP Portal, MDM Data Manager, or as a stand-alone application.

Pl see the link below for whole bible for it

Hi Sandhya

your understanding is correct. Changes done can be viewed using the Change tracking application which needs to be deployed in the portal. You can follow the below link on how to do this.
