Dear experts,

I have an issue, i found for some customers in bill print there is consumption diff, ( current reading - previous reading)but its showing correct consumption in MR results, when i diagnose i found that in between the device was changed. please go through the following dates for your ref.

Device Reg. MR date RR MA MT RS MR rec.

90324623 1 08.07.2011 01 01 1 811

90324623 1 12.09.2009 18 Z5 4 662

90324623 1 15.03.2009 21 X Z5 4 639

90317241 1 14.03.2009 22 X Z5 4 482

90317241 1 12.03.2009 13 Z5 4 663

90317241 1 08.03.2009 01 03 1 500

90317241 1 27.10.2008 06 X 01 1 491

in the bill print it showing closing reading 811 - opening reading 500 , and current consumption showing 817 units,

actually it should show (811-639=172).

any body have clue on this? i guess its not print work bench related, coz its triggering only for 2 customers.

if any idea please explain.

Cheers.

Hi,

Meter Reading on 14.03.2009 for device 90317241 (Disconnection Read) is wrong because previous read is 663 on 12.03.2009. You need to correct this read.

As far as your opening and closing read is concerned, you are showing reads with meter reading reason 01. So, technically those reads are correct. I guess in bill print you need to inform customer about device replacement or you need to give opening read and closing read for each individual device instead.

Avinash
