su3 update when connected to CUA

Hello everyone,

I'm checking the option to allow self language change by the users themselves. Usually an option is granted through the transaction SU3, but because our system is connected to CUA, all options for update are blocked in this transaction (so I've been told by the Basis team).

Is it possible to disconnect the SU3 from the CUA, or in any way to open the blocked field by customization?

If not ,is there any other option to change self language that is not by transactions SU3 or SU0 ?

The statement that everything is blocked due to CUA isn't always correct. Have a look at the documentation for transaction SCUM and [parameter settings|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/6a/b1b13bb3acd607e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm] on SAPhelp.
