Buenas tardes para todos,
Al realizar el proceso de aumentar decimales en las parametrizaciones generales del sistema este genera un mensaje en el que informa que no es posible reversar este tipo de cambio, tenemos un cliente que quiere cambiar los decimales del campo porcentaje de tres (3) a dos (2), agradecería si alguien conoce alguna forma de hacer el la aplicación SAP acepte este tipo de cambio.

Eso es imposible a menos que no hayan contabilizado nada
Decimales (0...6)
Defina el número de posiciones decimales que se visualizarán para los importes, precios, tipos de cambio, cantidades, porcentajes y unidades, y los valores calculados en las consultas.
Para todas las parametrizaciones de decimales, excepto los valores calculados en las consultas, se aplica lo siguiente:
Si no se ha contabilizado ningún asiento, sólo se puede aumentar o reducir el número de decimales.
Después de que se contabilice un asiento, sólo se puede aumentar el número de posiciones decimales hasta un máximo de 6 dígitos. Esta modificación es irreversible. Es imposible disminuir el número de posiciones decimales después de que se haya contabilizado un asiento.
Nota
La definición de posiciones decimales afecta los cálculos en SAP Business One y los valores que se graban en la base de datos. Por ejemplo, si escoge dos posiciones decimales para los importes y trabaja con seis posiciones decimales para precios y cantidades muy pequeños, es posible que los totales no sean exactos.

Lo que dice la documentacion de SAP es que NO es posible modificar esta parametrizacion si ya existen movimientos, ademàs de la recomendacion para efectos de reconciliacion y exactitud en las transacciones; lo que puedes hacer es parametrizar en los layout de documentos el numero de decimales que deseas imprimir.

Apart from the explanation from the reply above, the reason why the working with decimal were changed from the one in the earlier version was because of the inconsistency with the reconciliation of the Invoices and the payment, payment creation of the Invoices etc. When the decimal were changed during the course of business, the invoice with a different decimal places were not able to be reconciled with Credits which were added with a different decimal places than the Invoices, hence error messages were displayed.
The setting up of the decimal works as a initial setting where the customer/user needs to be define and confirm how much decimal places, he/she wants to work with. A change to a higher place of decimal is permissible, however to decrease is not as it would again create inconsistency in balances and reconciliation.
It is always recomended to work with decimals in consistent manner.
