Sapserver.Cmd can not be exucted

Hi Experts ,

First i don't know is it correct category or not , please forgive me if iam in wrong Category .. Iam trying to execute Sapserver.cmd file from window 2003 , but its not working. Please let me know

Hi,

RUn the following command in command prompt

set TEMP=C:\temp

set TMP=C:\temp

Then run sapserver.cmd again..

If its not work then please check the folowing point's

1. Run NTPATCH before start the installation

2. Install java in a basic folder ( ex:- c:\jre142) and add path.

3. check the variables.

4. check the user should be hanve local admin rights.

Hello,

I sure am not an expert but I'll share the knowledge I have. The most common reason your sapserver.cmd is not working for the installation of perhaps the DataBase (like Oracle) is the spaces or blanks in the address leading up to the file.

For example if sapserver.cmd is located in folder oracle - the path can be:

F:\SAP_ECC_6\Oracle

but this fails the execution:

F:\SAP ECC 6\Oracle

Any other reason it is not working can only be rectified if you kindly post the error.
