we currently have a book with 2 key figures
1. KF1
2. KF2
there is a macro that runs in background to copy values from KF1 to KF2, set up in weekly buckets and storage bucket profile in Days.
when user see the values in daily bucket, the values are proportionalty distibuted for KF2 for that week.
example
-
> 07/14/2011 , 07/15/2011
KF1 - EA - 10
KF2 -EA 5 - 5
requirement:
user do not want to view this proportional distribution when viewed from storage bucket profile. we tried to remove the time disaggregation at the planning area key figure level, but it does not go.
Any suggestions to achieve this.

Hello,
I think Datta is right, you can try the time disaggregation type in planning area settings.
But if you use this setting, the data will never get time-based disaggregated, even when you enter data in planning book.
Please check whether this is per your requirement.
Or you can consider perform the copy in a daily view.

Ada

AAL123,
If you are saying that, you dont want to see the values in KF2 disaggregated into days when you copy over from KF1 to KF2 in weeks, then try creating a data view that has Planning buckets profile with days and then run the copy macro using this view.

Hi,
In Planning Area u2013 Key Figure settings, did you try to use u2018N - No disaggregation in timeu2019 for KF2 key figure ?
This will mean that copying will occur in technical periods of the storage bucket profile and not the way it happens now.
Other option:
Now, you storage bucket profile and also the planning bucket proifile are in Days/Weeks/ .Months
Is it necessary for your user to view data in daily buckets ? Can the user view the data in weekly buckets only (and not in daily buckets) ?
Your planning bucket profile can be in Weeks/..Months .
This way your displayed data will be in weekly buckets.
Regards
Datta
