Asset under construction not completely credited

hi all ,

We are facing problem , while doing full Settlement through CJ88 in Project System , we are getting error as below :

" Asset under construction not completely credited

Message no. KD574

Diagnosis

Despite final settlement, costs or origin data remain on the asset

construction.

This could be because:

o There are no distribution rules with settlement type FUL

o The total percentage of the rules is greater than 100%

o Only amount rules were maintained "

while doing settlement with option automatic it is not giving any error.

Please help us to resolve this problem.

I think this message comes after TECO.

Did you create Asset from projects for Final Settlement?

I think you need to create asset from project for final settlement. Please refer SAP help for creating Asset from projects.

Hi Abishek,

After marking the project TECO and when you execute Full settlement the system assumes that the project has been completed fully and this will be the final settlement i.e. no cost will remain on the AUC after this settlement run. However, the error being reported indicates that amount has remained on the AUC. Two possible reasons for this could be:

1) You do not want to settle the project completely to an Asset at this stage.

Solution: Either convert the error message to warning.

2) The settlement rules that were maintained are not correct.

Solution: Kindly verify that for the final settlement the settlement rules for the asset are equal to the amount of cost available in the AUC.
