CTM problem

Hi All,

I am facing a weird problem while running CTM .

Whenever there is a forecast of more than 144 units, CTM is producing them once in two days.

For example if there is a demand of 800 unit on 20/07/11 then it will makes

144 on 20th

80 on 22nd

144 on 24th

144 on 26th

144 on 28th

144 on 30th etc

Lot for lot is maintained in product master. It is making 144 because variable bucket consumption 10 and unit min is maintained for resource in PPM. When I see period in the calendar maintained, then it shows period start and period end as two different dates ( period start- 15/07/11 period end -16/07/11). Is this the reason CTM is producing once in two days? How can I correct it?

Another intriguing thing is why it is making 80 on 22nd and why not on 30th ?

Please let me know if you have any pointer to this problem.

Hello Illford

As you observed,the Time stream is spread for two days,...So,create your own Planning calendar (Times stream in TA:/SAPAPO/CALENDAR) ,define the time periods say 0.00:00 hrs to 24:00:00hrs,and assign it to CTM profile and recheck

Hi ,

In CTM specific time stream we can not maintain time (00:00:00 to 24:00:00), i tried with usual SNP tme stream, results are same. Looks like this is not a calendar issue.

If you have 'Fixed duartion in PPM',remove it and check

Being an SNP ppm , we can not remove it. it has to be fixed duration , 1 day.
