Hello,
You may want to review the Best Practice guide for configuring EWA reports.
This is pretty straight forward stuff, and likely you just missed a step.

Hello Simonjohn ,
Check RFC trusted connection to the TEST system,
the READ RFC is only used for read remote system data for call SDCCN.
the TRUSTED connection is used for call the sdccn on the remote systems, chech auth rol for trusted user.
the user must have this profiles :
S_BDLSM_READ
S_CUS_CMP
S_CSMREG
(if you still have problem check securitu guide) http://service.sap.com/instguides SAP Components SAP Solution Manager.
for trusted connection you need the same user in both systems, with the same auth rol and profiles; and same rfc created on both systems, for this connections is no mandatory password.
after that, when you test auth conection on trusted rfc from your solution manager, if you get the message "you are not auth. to logon to remote system" check on remote systems that you have added the trusted rfc conection on menu.

Luis
