HI Kevin,

yes possiable to create Alerts with out using abap stack .

step1- from 7.1 v onwords,You can create Alert in ESR

step2-we have to execute ALRTCARTDE -> select ur Alert category from XI folder under Alert category -> then select fixed recipients

step3-this alert can be used in BPM.

Hi Kevin,

Alert cannot be configured without creating ALRTCATDEF. ALRTCATDEF is alert framework. To create any rule for interface we need to have a category define in the Alert framework

>>> ALERT Configuration without using ABAP Stack

Yes possible. Go to Runtime Workbench --> click alert configuration -> create category and then also you can set alert rules.

Hi Kevin,

Use this blog as a reference for creating Alert in ESR.

Hi ,

yes we can configure it. In PI7.1 we can configure alerts in ESR. But if we want to populate alerts with payload values , this can be done using Integration process(BPM) only.

Priyanka

Hi Kevin,

You can create Alert in ESR of PI 7.1

This alert can be used in BPM.

Alert created in ESR will be visible under Alert category /XI/ in ALRTCARTDEF transaction.
