Dear All ,

In SAP library : reference object in QM notification type are defined in Customzing of notification type ?

is there any Setting exist as assign notification type to referance object ?

if not , is it maintained in the : Over View of notification type > screen structure simplified view > Screen area 005 (ref object ) ?

if yes , where are the ref objects assigned to notification types ?

Hi,

In customizing for notification types, the screen type object entered in "screen areas for notification header" determines which reference objects you can use in a notification. The notification origin chosen in the definition of the notification types serves as a basis for this customization but it can be overwritten. For example O520 is used for internal problems and O510 is used for vendor related problems. In customizing for the screen templates you can further change the properties of the reference fields. If you need to combine reference objects of different notification origins in a notification type, such as vendors and production orders, you can choose O550 as the screen type object and develop the screens yourself. You have to activate a BADI for this which you can find in the customization menu.

You can find in spro -->QM -->Quality Notifications -->Overview of Notification types --> Select F1 -->goto Screen Areas in Notification header : Here check Screen type for Object : In the list u can find different reference objects ..
