table STXH & STXL in TDMS ShellCreation

The table STXH (48G) & STXL(27G) are huge in our production system.

We want to build new DEV by using TDMS shell creation, I want to know are those 2 tables necessary for the new cloned system? If we prevent TDMS from exporting content for them, what will be affected - ABAP / Config or nothing?

STXH and STXL contain texts for all kinds of formulars, long text for materials, basically all the long texts (LOBs) that are in the system.

Hello

They are mandatory to transfer them else you will not be able to log on to the system.

Following alternate option to transfer them may be considered -

Use table splitting to split these before export so that parallel processes may be used to speed up the export and import.
