Organizational unit 00000000 does not exist ?

Hey,

Trying to create a local supplier in the srm (nwbc) I get the following errors:

Organizational unit 00000000 does not exist; check entries

Error creating business partner's 'organization'. Inform system admin.

Error while creating organizational unit; inform system admin.

Error occurred while locking organizational unit 00000000

In the field Central Orgnanizational Object for Bidder I entered an ID of an exisitng vendor group.

At the moment i don't really know why the system misses the organizational unit 0000000000 although i did not enter it at any field. Is tihs ID a kind of root element ?

I would be very glad if anybody could give me a hint.

Hi,

Please maintain entries in table BBP_MARKETP_INFO....maintain the vendor root created under PPOMV_BBP, currency etc..

I had same issue.

I solved it adding in BBP_MARKETP_INFO table via SM30 the vendor root, e.g. VENDOR_ROOT = VG50001228.
