Universe was Corrupted !!!

Hi Experts!!,

Can any one help me in solving this problem.

I dont knw how my universe was corrupted Still it is in the Development system only...

now my report showng "????" how can i get my universe backup. its very important Issue..

I have checked theer is no FRS file in the CMC but there is CUID no is there .. acn any one guide me.. in this..

as early as poosble it will eb help full to me..

Hi,

Try to open your local system universe file and then export it..

or you are maintaining some where backup.

You are getting ??? in the report properties instead of universe name then try to remap universe again in the report query.

How to open universe in local sytem ..

evrery day after noon we will take up all servers

yesterday we have made some chnges inthe Univereses.. in th night.

can we get those chnges or not..

Hi,

now after changes you have exported the universe in the repository.if you login in the designer and goto file and open one copy of universe is stored in your local system.I am saying open that universe file instead of importing universe from the repository.

Hi,

To work around this issue:

1. Make a new universe with specific name (Eg. TEST).

2. Export it and save it on the local computer.

3. Copy the name of the TEST universe and delete the TEST universe from the local computer.

4. Rename the corrupted universe with the TEST.unv name.

5. Open the TEST.unv from the local computer in Designer.

6. Export the universe

7. Import the universe again to get the corrupted universe data.

Whereabouts is the ??? located?

If you are seeing ??? in a Webi formula, that means that the object that was in the formula has been removed from the query.

Yes the ??? question mark has been displayed in the formula in the query...

just now we replace tht ??? mark with object in the formula

now it is working fine..
