Selection for loading data

Guru:

I need to load spend data into SPM for 2 of 200 companies via direct update.

Is there a way to define a selection for that?

I tried the select options in the extractor configuration, does not work.

I also tried to manually change the company code as a select field in RSo2,does not work.

Any suggestion?

Hi Eric,

As mentioned here, there is currently no option to filter the data set using infopackage. But what you can do is basically make a copy of the extractor and filter the specific company code or any other dimension using code you want and then use that extractor / datasource for pulling data into SPM.

Hi Eric,

I do not believe you can do this.

You can only select by date range, as you will see in the infopackage.

These ranges are automatically handled by the SPM data management UI on data loads.

There is also no way to control this through the UI.

We raised a message about RSO2 customisations to the extractors and the response was that this is not supported.
