Not able to create batch in ME22N

Hello All,

When I am trying to create batch for SUB PO in ME22N, I am getting below information message and batch is not created.

"6N4T010000 is not assigned Batches".

This is happening for specific plant. When I am trying to create batch using MSC1N, I can create without any error or information message.

What is 6N4T010000? Material no?

Dear,

Its looking for a existing batch number and it is not possible to create a new batch for a subcontracting PO based from your system settings.

Or if the "6N4" is a material number, batch management indicator in the material master might not be activated.
